Platinum with Princess does this count towards Mariner ?

Does the fact that we are currently platinum with Princess get us any additional points with the Mariner ?

No -- it will not give you any extra points towards HAL.

 

The only thing HAL recognize is that you have sailed on other cruise line in the Carnival Corporation fleet.  This will make you a 1 star Mariner and you should be invited to the Mariner Brunch held later in the cruise.

We are platinum on Princess and recently sailed for the first time on HA and were not invited to the lunch.

It needs to be mentioned to the TA or PCC so they will link the Mariner #.

Also check at the front desk when you get on the ship and remind them that you are a 1 star Mariner.

 

Check your ID card when you get it at check in in the terminal -- it should also indicate that you are a 1 star Mariner.
