Vancouver car service - pier to airport (5 people)?

Hello,

 

We will need to get from Canada Place to the airport when our ship gets in on a Monday morning.  There will be 5 of us, including a few car seats and lots of luggage.  I'm reading that 5 person cabs are few and far between.  Is there a car service we can book ahead of time to meet us there and take us to the airport?  I'm looking for whatever is our lowest stress option that morning.

Can't suggest a better car service than Dennis did, but be aware that it'll end up pricey if you prebook - Aerocar are the cheapest local limo company on routes to/from YVR (everyone else has to charge a full hour per local bylaws, they can offer a fixed rate that works out much less than that) but for 5 pax you'll need one of their SUVs (~$92 incl tax & 15% tip) and to pay a $50 'meet & greet' fee on top. This is more expensive than 5 seats on a shuttle (adults $23, seniors/kids less) so you may want to look at that instead.

 

The other alternative, which depending on your flight time might be the best one, would be a car rental for the day - if you have time to actually go somewhere, even for a couple of hours, rather than having to head right to the airport you would have transportation and luggage storage all in one. Shop around all the big firms (I like Kayak for comparative car rentals, makes it easy to look at multiple companies simultaneously - but Costco always has the best rates on the major companies if you're a member) and you should be able to find a big enough car for well under what the limo will cost - and even with our relatively steep gas prices, it won't cost much to top up the tank given YVR is just 10 miles away, even if you wander about en route.

Thank you to both of you!!  I have reached out to the shuttle company to see if we're able to install car seats (which we will have with us), and if not, we'll book an SUV 🙂  Thank you very much!!
