Once we landed in Miami we we went to luggage claim. Here is the part where you are hoping all of you luggage made it. We had ito wait about 15 minute until the luggage started coming out. With a big sigh of relief we spotted out luggage. From there we asked where we had to go for Uber. We were told go our the door and to the right. Once we got to the spot we scheduled  our  ride. We had to wait about 7 minutes for our ride to arrive. We got and Uber X when in reality with our luggage we should have got and Uber XL. We were able to get 2 pieces of luggage in trunk with another piece between Mrs Zen and I. the last piece of luggage go to ride shotgun in the front seat. The total price from Ft Lauderdale to Miami was $37.50 plus tip.

When then headed out for some food and drink. I have been following sid_9169 on these forums. He does great live reviews. The rest of night we’re places he recommended. I must say we were not let down. We down to Coyo Taco which is about 100yds from the hotel. We started off with Mrs Zen getting a margarita and myself with a jalapeño margarita. They were tasty. We decided to get tacos. Mrs Zen has carnitas tacos while I had duck tacos(recommended by Sid_9169. They were delicious.

We're also from the Phoenix area and will be on Breakaway in January. Looks like you're beer drinkers (as are we) and when we were on the Bliss two months ago we spent way too much time in the District Brewhouse. Too bad they don't have a Brewhouse on the Breakaway, as I hear the beer selection is pretty limited.

Love the review.  We live in Orlando and were just in Miami last weekend.  How did you score free drinks at Hampton Inn?  I'm Hilton Honors and the Hilton Downtown Miami did not offer free drinks, lol!  Looking forward to the rest!!

After our meal and drinks at Coyo Taco Mrs Zencruiser said “let’s go ride the Metromover”. So off we went. The Metro Mover is free and it takes to in loop through downtown Miami. It was about a 20 minute ride for us to make back to the station we started at.

After getting off the Metro Mover we decided to continue our night at So Cal Taco. This was another place recommended by Sid_9169. It was about a 3 or 4 block walk. There is good vibe in the Brickell District and I no time did we ever feel unsafe. We will definitely stay there next time we sail from Miami.

We had some chips and queso but we didn't think to take any pics.Soon one of the owners (AJ) came over and sat down and talked  to us for about 20 mins. He gave the history of So Cal Taco. He took us inside and showed us that is used to an old  fire station. The poles the firemen came down from upstairs are still there. He left for a few mins and came back with tequia shots for the 3 of us. We all did our shots. The pic is a little blurry but so were we at this point. We took a selfie with AJ and we started our walk back to the hotel.

We arrived back at the hotel at about 1130. Tonight’s festivities and the cruise are brought to you by Flyby. These again we recommended by Sid_9169. Thanks Sid they worked great. You take 3 before you start drink and 3 immediately before you go to bed. Mr Zen and are not big drinkers but on a cruise we do take take advantage of the Beverage Package. Tomorrow we wake up and it is cruise day!

We wake up and it is cruise day! The day is finally here. I open the blinds and look out the window and it its a beautiful day in Miami. We get dressed and head down for the free breakfast. I thought I took pics of the breakfast but it looks like i failed on that. I was impressed with the breakfast. There was plenty to choose from and plenty of room to sit and eat. After eating we went back upstairs to finish repacking. We great anticipation we go down stairs to wait for our Uber ride,

My favorite spot on the ship is hanging by the pool. I enjoy the energy and vibe listening to the reggae band.

Our favorite food was at Ocean Blue. Amazing food and service.

Our favorite port is Roatan, Honduras. This was our third time there.

Favorite excursion was Mayan Chan in Costa Maya. This was our first time there. We will be going back next April.

We're on her August 11th, cannot wait!  I too booked Maya Chan, heard nothing but TERRIFIC reviews and am super excited to go!  Ocean Blue requires pants, if I recall?  I heard you can wear shorts if you sit outside?

Great review so far, I love the drink porn! (I work in the liquor/wine industry, so its my "porn of choice"  LOL!
