private transfer Ezeiza airport to downtown hotel

Has anyone used a private transfer company to get from the  Ezeiza  airport in Buenos Aires to a downtown hotel?  If so, could you give me the name of the company and the approx fare.   I have read good and bad reports about taking a taxi from the airport - prepaying at airport and then wait to be "assigned" a driver.  One customer did this and was taken by a porter in a car to the awaiting cab and was then asked to pay for that porter's service.  Can anyone verify this type of arrangement or have your experiences been good?  Any information or advice would be appreciated.

What hotel are you using in BA?

Good info.  Anyone used any device FROM downtown Buenos Aires to EZE?  We are at the Hilton after our Jupiter cruise in January.

The cab stand is on the left, by the exit door for leaving the terminal. Yes you pay at the stand and give them the location you want to go to. A Porter does take you out to a cab. Expect to tip him. It did take quite awhile to get off the plane and then through

customs.

We used Taxi Ezeiza twice -- in 2015 and three months ago.  We had very good experiences both times.  And we did tip the porter who took us out to our car and driver.  Also, Taxi Ezeiza will give you a price quote.  Just go to their website for more information.

In 2015 we went through immigration in about 30 minutes.  This spring several planes landed around the same time frame, and it was about an hour to get through immigration.  The length of time is a consideration if you are paying a waiting fee for a private transfer.
