Exchanging cuban currency back to dollars...help!

So I was able to go to Cuba on a short cruise in May right before they closed, but I was scheduled for another one in July. Unfortunately, I didn't change my money back thinking what for if I was going back. Does anyone know where I can exchange Cuban pesos back to U.S. dollars outside of Cuba? Is there an exchange desk at the Miami airport? I have about $80 still and it's too much to save as a souvenir. Let me know please. Thanks!

I don't think you can exchange Cuban dollars anywhere other than Cuba.   At least that was what we were told when we visited.  Maybe you could find someone who is planning a trip there to buy them from you?

I don't know where you live in CA but if convenient I will buy them from you for our November trip.  Cherie

Hi Cherie,

I live in Southern California by L.A. area. I would be interested. I have 70 cuban pesos. How can we get in contact?
