NCL Hot Seat Promotion

On many of the dailies from NCL I see the occasional “Hot Seat Promotion” listed at the Casino at various times.  Anyone know what this is?  (I’m new to NCL)

The "Hot Seat Promo" is a promo in which a random draw is made from players card in use at the time.   Not sure if its computer generated, but it includes all slot players (as long as card is inserted in machine) and also table players as long as you have given the pit boss your players or room card.    I have heard one name called and on  some ships 3 names at a time.   Amount also varies from $25 to $50 in free play.  Not sure I explained it very well, maybe someone else could  add to this.

You described it well.  I think they alternate slot winner, then table winner.   I've just heard one at time, but maybe every half hour or so?

Just returned from a 3 niter on the Sun.  My friend was playing slots and her name was called for the Hot Seat Promotion.  The casino added 2000 points to her player's card.

We are on NCL Jewel and both last week and this week the Hot Seat Promotion was 2000 bonus points added to your account

I believe that the 2000 bonus points can be converted to $20 of "free play" credits.

That's right.   They add the points into your account and you can download as freeplay.

I won a hot seat promotion on our last cruise (July). It was 2,000 points and those points were added to my card. I was able to use them for play in the slot machines. I did ask if those 2,000 points would apply to my "earned" point count, and no, they don't. (Wasn't surprised about that, but thought I'd ask anyway.)

Yeah I was hoping the same thing.....would be better then the 20 bucks  LOL
