atdahop Posted June 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2019 We have an opportunity to take a comp cruise through Station Casinos in Las Vegas and there are a few questions I have: 1. If you are Princess Elite, when you take the comp cruise are you still Elite? 2. Have you been able to upgrade? 3. Do you receive the internet minutes? Any other information would be most valuable. Thank you, Carole
Crystal04 Posted June 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2019 1. Yes 2. You can upgrade the room. You cannot upgrade to a different type of cruise. 3. Yes
Belle Posted June 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) Elite or not everything stays the same. It's a Princess cruise. So what your entitled to you get. I had one from another casino but I didn't try to upgrade but sure you can. I was able to pick the cruise I wanted and pick my room but it had to be only the number of days they said it was, couldn't pay extra to go on a longer cruise. Rare crusinthrough Posted June 22, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2019 I recently booked my first one. You can upgrade to a different category but there may be limited inventory available in each category. I wanted to upgrade to a suite. The website you book on it says "sold out" but Princess's website shows suites are available. Other information - You can only book online through the webpage provided and you have to pay in full at time of booking. An extra non refundable $100 pp is added to the cost, which is given back in OBC. I think there was a banner when logging onto the webpage that said you do no earn points for the cruise but it will be counted as a cruise or something similar. First time non Princess so I didn't pay much attention. Overall, it seems like a good deal and gives me a chance to try a new cruise line. I think the total price came out about half of the cost if i booked directly. I had the option to choose from Mexico and Caribbean cruises. I chose the Royal Princess to Mexico. Crystal04 Posted June 22, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Stations does two types of free cruises. They do the ones through the website and the vouchers that you have pick up and book over the phone.
Rare roxievegas Posted June 22, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 22, 2019 we got our "free inside" from Harrah's. We decided to go to a Balcony instead of the inside cabin. Cost was $415 pp plus the port and taxes plus we added the travel insurance, so a total for the 7 night cruise (LA roundtrip to San Francisco) is $1300 - which is the cost for one person currently. We also booked the 5 night cruise prior to this cruise, used the casino rate and we are now going 12 nights in the same balcony cabin for a total of $2300, plus receiving casino credit on each leg and $50 OBC. The price is great getting the "free" cruise,, but once you do it, you will be hooked
