I see that the Caribbean Princess has a 10pm departure from St. Thomas.

Has anyone ventured out to a nice restaurant there, reasonably close to the pier?

I think a nice sunset dinner would be nice. Recommendations most welcome!

The sun sets early and quickly in St Thomas so you would need to go early. I’d suggest 5PM and expect the sun to set fully by 6:30 or so.

The Mafolie is located on a hill overlooking the harbor and is a great spot to dine , drink, and watch the sunset and the other ships departing.

Closer is The Greenhouse which is in town and Hook Line and Sinker which is in Frenchtown

I don't know when your trip is, but there should be a new restaurant or two at Yacht Haven Grande by next season. These are right on the marina and close to Havensight. If you want to spend some $$ for a view, there is a new restaurant at the top to Paradise Point called Prime.

Greenhouse is kinda run-of-the-mill IMHO. Mafolie would require a taxi, but is a great place.
