We began our last full day in London by taking the Big Red Bus to the Borough Market 

 

 

We went outside to photograph the Shard

 

 

We found Southwark Cathedral nearby

 

 

 

As we entered this elderly gentleman began telling us about the church building

 

 

It has a lovely ornate altar

 

 

And some great stained glass windows

 

 

 

This one dedicated to William Shakesphere

 

 

He told us the story of Sam Wanamaker an American who raised the money to rebuild the Globe Theatre after it had burned down .

 

The choir began practice while we were there

 

 

 

As it was near lunch time we saw that they had a cafe in the rear of the church .

 

 

We ate outside near this vintage Rolls - Royce

We usually connect thru and stay in London for a few days before and after a cruise . One thing that we forgot to pack was a wash cloth or 2 . Neither hotel had one .

After lunch we decided to walk it off by going along the river . Walking under London Bridge we heard a familiar tune .

 

 

 

 

The Silver Wind was next to the Belfast

 

 

 

 

At about this point we fancied an ice cream 

 

 

And Mr. Whippy hit the spot

 

 

We crossed Tower Bridge

 

 

 

And after passing the Tower and it's guard lions we decided to pick up the Big Red Bus

 

 

 

When the bus came a lot of " ladies" came out of the woodwork cutting line , pushing and shoving to grab the few empty seats on the hot bus .

We hopped off to walk along the river embankment

 

 

We didn't recall seeing so many rough sleepers

We ordered room service for our last supper in London

 

 

A nice BA club

 

 

We flew Club Europe to Copenhagen which means 2 people share 3 seats instead of 2 larger seats shown when booking 

 

 

 

 

Breakfast is served

 

 

Tomorrow we board the Zuiderdam

The Taxi ride from the Copenhagen Airport takes about 30 minutes and costs about $70 . We had a short line at about 11 AM and sat about 30 minutes before boarding .

 

 

We went straight to our room 7191 Starboard aft corner .

I'm loving the review but I can't view the additional pictures. Only some of them are showing in the body of your posts. I click on the little box with an x and it takes me to Photobucket but the pictures don't show.  Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone tell me what I need to do to see them?

  I am anxious to see the rest of your great pictures!

Hi Nancy . It looks OK on our windows desktop and Apple Laptop . What type of device are you using ? My wife said that it is loading slowly on her older ipad so maybe the photo files are too large for your device . We don't see an X so maybe someone else more tech savvy can help .

Hmmmmm.......I'm using a one year old HP desktop PC with Windows 10.  I tried Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Firefox and still only get some of your pictures.  The links take me to Photobucket website, but not pictures. Rats!

I have the same issue. Some pics show fine. Others simply show their web address.

Sorry about that . We're also using windows 10 and Chrome . But my wife's ipad is showing some photos  and some icons that link to photobucket . I'll try posting fewer photos each post .
