Happy Hour Back 2019??

The last time we did the happy hour 2 for 1, the bartender would let me order 3 beers, then she would only open one and gave me the other 5 unopened when I left to go back to my cabin. Well, sometimes there were 5 left, more likely just a couple were left to take back 🙂

It definitely helps to cultivate a relationship with the bartender in your favorite venue, mostly for faster service when it's crowded. This is true on board as well as off.

And? Why is that a problem?

The belief of some is that Princess cancelled the BOGO$1 because passengers were buying many drinks and saving them for later. Now it could be that or the fact that Princess wanted people to buy the drink packages so that they could make more money.

But, heck, who knows?

that's not the 'purpose' of happy HOUR !!! - drink em up ... no carryouts

and that's the end of that ... Princess nipped that little game of a few to the detriment of others

One problem was that those who benefitted by a kind bartender didn’t keep it to themselves.  Post it here and EVERYONE knows.....and good bye perk!  Princess did not lose money... but there were probably bartenders repermanded.
