Carnival Pride parking at the terminal lot

Haven't been back in years.  Looking to park at the cruise port at the Pride.  Has anybody done this and if so what is the time that the lot opens for parking?  Also anything to be aware of?

Hi,

It is $15 per day to park,I Believe the lot does not open until around 11:00 or 11:30 or at least everytime we have gone,that is when it opened up.

The lot tends to open after it clears out from the previous cruise.  We have been able to get in as early as 10:30.  However, last January the Pride was late in returning and traffic was backed up as they did not open the gates for arriving passengers until after 12.

Our recent cruise in June, we were able to access the lot around 10:30 am. Many passengers were still disembarking, and they were letting cars in as ones from the previous cruise were departing.

We've had no issues parking at the port, but if you are arriving the day before (and don't mind waiting a little to get home) you may want to consider a sleep, park, and cruise package.  There are several around that aren't much more than the cost of parking to also have a hotel room the night before and shuttle to and from the port.  Coming from the south, the Best Western Elkridge has had good reviews - except it is reported it can take a bit to get back to the hotel after the cruise.
