Travel Insurance info?

Ok.. so every other Cruise I have been on.. I usually booked with a TA.. long story.. but decided to book on my own.. so now I need to purchase the cruise insurance.. so many choices.. help..  now I have used in the past Travel Guard.. but I am looking at Nationwide.. ?.. any reviews ... ?.. and I know that Travel Guard doesn't allow me to purchase the cancel for any reason insurance.. but Nationwide does.. also do I use a broker or book direct.. I tried emailing the insuremytrip and my yahoo email bounced back.  Any suggestions out there.. please 🙂

You can call insuremytrip or the trip insurance store and talk to an agent who can answer all your questions. You can even buy a policy while you are on the phone.

 

Just decide ahead of time what you are trying to accomplish so that you can ask the right questions.  What elements are important to you? Cancel for any reason?  Pre-existing conditions? Coverage for extreme sports?

 

Travel Guard and Nationwide are both good companies. If anything, see if you an find out who processes the claims. Tripmate handles them for lots of companies, and they have many bad reviews on BBB. It only matters if you have to file a claim, but that is why you buy insurance afterall.
