Venice....how long does it take to get to airport?

How much time should we allow to get to the  airport in Venice from the Royal Caribbean cruise dock? Does Royal Caribbean provide airport shuttles? Any information is greatly appreciated!

We docked on a Saturday and had pre booked a car which I think was £39. Driver was waiting right outside where we collected bags with name board and just a couple of minutes walk to car. It was just the two of us but the car could take seven passengers. The road was very clear, no hold ups and probable took less than half an hour. 

Pretty certain there was RC shuttles but I think they would be more expensive and you would have to wait for bus for all passengers to board

I remember it taking about 25-30 minutes.

Both times we had a car booked. He was waiting and we loaded up upon debarking the ship. We beat the shuttle buses which is a good thing. Can get busy at the airport once the shuttle buses start to arrive. Took maybe twenty-five minutes to arrive at the airport.

We have sailed twice from Venice on Splendour and on each occasion we got off the ship and jumped straight into a taxi and within 25 minutes we were at the airport.

We booked transport through Royal last year and it took just under 30 min.

Make sure you have seats on the right side of the plane for views when landing.

 

it is about 25 mins from airport to ship.

Taxi takes about 25 minutes and will almost certainly be cheaper but definitely much more easier and quicker than a RCI airport shuttle.
