Sailor Taylor Posted July 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2019 I know I know it's a chain. But how is it? Worth the price? If it's not worth going, any other recommendations in the area? Doesn't have to be seafood.
Rare 1025cruise Posted July 18, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Legal is Legal. There are many restaurants in the Back Bay/Copley area. It depends on what you are looking for.
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted July 19, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2019 I ate at that restaurant. It was very good. Yes, it is a chain--but it has good food.
Nitemare Posted July 19, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2019 Legal is great, but we think the standard Legals are overpriced. We prefer their "sub brands" like Test Kitchen, C Bar, and Harborside.
princeton123211 Posted July 19, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2019 Most locals don't eat at Legal's but in Boston they do go to Legal Test Kitchen of which there is one in South Boston in the Seaport area. In the summer time a popular seafood place on the water is the Barking Crab. Something more upscale and really good is Neptune Oyster in the North End. mets123 Posted July 19, 2019 #7 Share Posted July 19, 2019 Try Yankee Seafood. It's about 4 blocks from the dock, about a block from Harpoon Brewery. The two make a great combo, both time wise and price wise.
