Unlimited Laundry Info

Hi, we’re sailing on Maasdam for 14 nights from Tokyo next week. I’ve seen mention of unlimited laundry on HAL at a reasonable price but can’t find many details or the option to add in our booking.

 

Can anyone advise if it will be available on this ship, what price and how we go about booking it please?

It will be available, and to start it you simply mark that on the slip for the first batch you send out. I believe in Asia it will be $7/day, $98 total.

Price varies...for Norway it was $9/day/cabin or $30 per bag.  No need to purchase before you board.

Yes, that is the price for Europe and trans-Atlantic cruises. Do you know if it is that anywhere else in the world?

Or you can call Ship Services at 1-800-541-1576, in advance of your cruise giving them any credit card number you would like.  I would though ask them to send email confirmation as it will not appear on your other documents. When you fill out your 1st laundry slip just mark "unlimited" and add a note "prepaid".

A handful of people here have reported that when they called Ship Services and bought the unlimited laundry package before the cruise, they were given a discount.

 

Don't count on it -- buy it may happen to you if you book before the cruise.

We find it on HAL's site in Gifts and Indulgences/Packages under the Cruise Activities tab on the page for our booking. It prices out based on the length of your cruise.
