100cruisesorbust Posted July 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2019 It seems that Le Petit Chef has extremely mixed reviews along with extremely limited menu, even with some ships having two different shows. However original Qsine had a very expansive menu and the restaurant sold out almost every night. Is there any talk about going back to original Qsine?
Cruising89143 Posted July 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Agree with this. Please offer the former format for a few nights during the cruise.🙂
UFMOM Posted July 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2019 We have enjoyed both Le Petit Chef and the original Qsine. While recognizing that the technology needed for LPC is quite expensive and will need to be utilized, We, too, would enjoy having both LPG and Qsine menus available on a rotating basis. We would love to visit the restaurant multiple times per cruise for different menus. We are looking forward to both the LPG on Equinox this November and to the old Qsine on the Summit Artic TA in August 2020. Mary Ann
kathynorth Posted July 25, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2019 LPC is a one and done. We wouldn't even go back for the 2nd version of the show. Qsine was a great venue to share with newly found ship buddies. Is there a reason why The original Qsine can't continue with LPC scheduled once or twice per cruise?
Adonnarae Posted July 28, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2019 Definitely prefer Qzine over LPC. If both options could be offered on a rotating basis, that would be wonderful.
Lisa Lutoff-Perlo Posted August 12, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2019 Hello! Guests have been enjoying Le Petit Chef since we launched it onboard Celebrity Edge. While we are adding this unique culinary experience to our other ships, we do not have any current plans to bring back Qsine as a dining venue. Thank you and have a great rest of your day! That’s really too bad. Any reason not to provide what your customers are asking for?
Baron Barracuda Posted August 16, 2019 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2019 This really makes me shake my head. Doubt most passengers would repeat either concept on a sailing. We have done Silk Harvest twice, but that's just us (and we had a great deal). Restaurant is never more than half full under either concept so why not alternate the formats nightly and see if revenue increases. It's also dumb that the space sits empty all afternoon. How about coming up with a lunch concept? For instance would be a better spot for gourmet burgers than the failed Mast Grill experiment.

How ridiculous???? Why would we want to do LPC twice??? I have booked on a 14 night cruise, I like to book speciality restaurants, this is poor marketing
Ravbo Posted August 19, 2019 #10 Share Posted August 19, 2019 We enjoy LPC and have been back at least 6 times over the last 2 years. Enjoy watching the other passengers reactions. Food is also excellent.

It’s such a shame they decided to dump Q sine in favour of a 1 set menu gimmick Edited August 19, 2019 by lauralee72
