does anyone know if there is there a charge for fish and chips on independence?

Yes there is.  Good planing on their part, because It is next to the kids pool. 

 

Still don’t know why they have the smoking area there too.

Can’t believe they do deep fried chocolate bar !! 😬. I have seen it being ‘made’ on land when we were touring Scotland alongside the deep fried pizza, wonder what the uptake is on the ship of that delicacy. 

 

When we were on Indie after her revamp last year we said to ourselves that Fish and Ships was never going to take off but surprisingly there were a few people buying when we were on her in May this year.

Our local chippy does a Tuesday special , Cod and chips , cooked to order fresh fish, for £4 .  The smell of the chips wafting down to the Solarium on Indie  did make me go investigate until I realised where the smell was coming from. 😆 . I paid enough for my cruise not going to pay extra for chips !

Yes there is a charge but it is worth it.

We had Fish&Chips and Scampi &Chips on Independence in May 2018.
