Taxi fares?

I'm trying to see which beach is the cheapest to go to from Crown Bay.  How much is taxi fare from Crown Bay to Magen's Bay? or to Sapphire Beach?

 

Also how much is to Emerald Beach? is this worth going?

Lindbergh Bay (aka Emerald Beach) is the closest and so the cheapest taxi fare, ~$4 - $5pp each way, Magens is probably $8 - $10pp, and Sapphire is $11pp. Others can share the taxi fare sign posted at Crown or you can search for that.

 

Lindbergh is a fine beach and very convenient to Crown. Some may suggest Honeymoon on Water Island, but that will be very crowded. Most new visitors will taxi to Magens because it is touted as one of the best and it is nice, while others will want to go to Sapphire or another East End beach. We would spend a little more to go to Sapphire, but again Lindbergh is nice and offers all the amenities you want with less time in a taxi. It is also walkable for some folks if you want to consider that.

 

What are you looking for in a beach?

Thank you very much for the respond.  I think emerald beach is a way to go for my family.  It's close which means less taxi fare and seems like many people like yourself recommend it.

I'm going to be a parasite and attach my question to the original poster's.  What can I expect to pay for a Taxi from Havensight to Sapphire?  Seems like it would be a little closer than Crown Bay.
