just wondering if Royal Caribbean - oasis of the seas sell travel adapters onboard to enable me to use  uk appliances

Buy your adapters  at home, either from any store that sells travel accessories or Amazon.

You do not need adapters - there are both US and European adapters on board built into each stateroom.

you can find 6 packs of uk to eu or usa plugs for about 7 pounds on amazon.

be careful of voltage. uk and eu are compatable voltagewise - uk and usa are not unless you have a converter or the appliance is dual voltage like many computers, phone chargers and camera chargers. 

if it is not dual voltage - 110 and 220 - be sure to plug it into an eu outlet.

Most cruise lines use the 220 vac European German Style or G plug not the C You can google that.

OP asks a valid question

 

UK uses type G plugs.  Most of the rest of Europe uses C, E and F.  In the US, we use A and B types

Thanks.  Mrs Ldubs applied some credits to a kit of travel adaptors from Apple.  Now I have a better understanding of where those different shaped plugs are used.
