Bahamas - Price Difference

I was just wondering why the price was so different between May and June on a 7 night cruise out of New Orleans in 2020.  In May it's $510 per person  In June, it goes up to $731 per person.  What am I missing.  Is the weather drastically different or something?

Supply and demand.  It is what it is.  Probably higher in June as school is out, summer prices.

Start of summer season which comes with higher demand/prices.

People are willing to pay the price, so it keeps going up.

Children from all over the country are out in June. In May, it's only certain areas. Supply and demand.
