Penthouse Suite Unlimited Specialty Dining Question

We are booked in a PH Suite aboard Summit February 2020.  When making reservations at the various specialty restaurants, we are being asked to pay the specified dollar amount. A PH perk is unlimited complimentary specialty dining. How do we make dining reservations without having a credit card charge?

Hopefully I have explained the question well enough..........thanks

The Shoreside Concierge will contact you from 10 days to 3 weeks pre-cruise. You can give the restaurants , day & times and they will handle booking with the ship.  Once on the ship you can confirm your reservations with your butler or the Retreat Concierge.

You wont have any issues... we just left PH on EQ yesterday... we did not book anything in advance! we LOVE Luminae so, we "wing it" based on the menus! if you have a PH you won't be told "we are full" !! If you know what you want, then as stated the shoreside Concierge is great and will arrange, or Retreat Lounge Concierge or Butler onboard can all secure for you... you will LOVE the PH on SM it is phenomenal!

Appreciate the responses. I have not been on Celebrity in a number of years and am not familiar with shore side concierge.

The shoreside concierge will contact you about 2/3 weeks before your cruise. They will ask you what spirits, beers, sodas you want in your bar set up. They will ask about any speciality dining requests and anything else (pillow type, anniversary/birthday?)...They will also explain about your luggage drop off depending on which port you are using.

We tend to draft an email ready. We also print and give a copy to our butler on boarding so he can confirm our speciality dining and check other requests have been completed.

On our last two cruises all requests had been forwarded but there have been occasions where not all requests have made it on board...

Whilst it is probably not necessary to prebook speciality dining we prefer to schedule pre cruise and then just modify if circumstances do change. The M’Ds of the speciality restaurants do appreciate you booking rather than simply expect to be ‘fitted in’. We do tend to have preferred tables in the speciality restaurants and if you do prebook then they can sort this for you...

Enjoy the PH....We loved the balcony!
