I am looking for a great place for some local food, close to the pier.  We are looking into doing  1/2 day snorkeling, changing, then grabbing some great food near the ship.

Suggestions???

Couple great options.

Right across the harbor is the Castries Craft and Food Market, can't miss it, large semi-open air building, orange red roof, right at the end if the harbor.  Lots of local food stalls serving up local meals including stewed lamb/chicken/beef/pork, or baked chicken, steamed fish, etc plus all the sides - salad, rice, Mac and cheese, beans, ground provisions, and so forth  .

Or, take a half hour walk ($10 cab ride, 5-8 minutes) over to Vigie Beach, great beachfront boardwalk with multiple restaurants and bars, local meals with all the fixings. Enjoyed a wonderful baked chicken, rice, beans, Mac and cheese, salad, fig and saltfish and ground provisions lunch today, $15xcd pp. Right on the beach!

Enjoy
