Our ship was boarded by immigration who looked at all passports in the pursers office and we were able to just get off onto the tenders and come ashore. I do have a stamp from Croatia, actually a few of them.
Bizmark'sMom Posted August 9, 2019 #27 Share Posted August 9, 2019 The ship will let you know if you need to take your passport with you.

We didn't, it was all handled by the ship. Edited August 9, 2019 by zqvol
Xyla Posted August 9, 2019 #29 Share Posted August 9, 2019 We did a Med cruise a few weeks ago and did not need our passports at the Montenegro port stop.
Rare frantic36 Posted August 10, 2019 #30 Share Posted August 10, 2019 I did port stops in Croatia last month...Dubrovnik and Zadar...and in neither place did we have to show passports. Our ship made no mention of needing to have them. I checked with my husband in case my memory was faulty and he agreed, no need to have passports ashore.
