Soda Package?

We won't have a drink package on Pride of America. We aren't big soda drinkers, but at $7.95/day we figure it might be worthwhile. What is the charge for a soda on-board?

If we even drink two/day definitely worth it if the sodas are $4-5 each.

$4+ with mandatory service charge.  Two cups daily is roughly the break-even point.

$4.14 per drink  so yes you can do it in two per day.  Also its not only soda, you can get tonic water or soda water.  You can get a Shirley Temple (Kiddie Cocktail) and sometimes they will make a little mocktail (tipping extra would be in order) so get to know your bartender!

On our last cruise, I thought that the soda package would be cost saving but as it turned out it was difficult to break across the two per day especially as I was only drinking diet and there a lot less choices to be had. I would have been a lot better off just paying as I went as I just couldn't keep that pace up. Bought one for the spouse too and she was even worse - so not going there again.

Now if they'd include the specialty coffees for even a bit more,  I would be all over that!

That is the Premium Beverage Package Plus. Bottled water, specialty coffees, and upgraded booze.

Is there a way to upgrade to the Premium Beverage Package Plus from our Free at Sea package, and if so what is the upcharge?

With the Free at Sea package - the Premium Beverage Package INCLUDED the upgrade I believe

would be $29 a day per person all persons in the cabin participating.

Diet Pepsi and supposedly Diet Sierra Mist ( I tried to order this a couple times but it always came back as regular - gave up after a while).

I find that places that offer pepsi products don't have a lot of choices when it comes to diet.

Be careful I have been billed for a can of soda rather than a cup of soda. Cans are not part of the soda package and if they hit can instead of cup on the computer you will be charged for it,

How could NCL possibly screw up Club Soda - Oh yeah NCL taking the fizz out it !

 

There maybe limitations on the number of drink selection dispensed at a bar -

as for Tonic Water Ginger Ale and Club Soda these probably will be in cans.

Cans have a very limited presence found mainly in the mini-fridge --- Oh yeah

be careful "Shaken and not Stirred" not recommend - substantial loss of fizz !

Diet Pepsi isn't my favorite either, can I get plain seltzer from their soda gun easily on the ship with the soda package?

I want something 0 calories and fizzy, really can't afford to drink calories.
