Just saw you in the roll call on 7th Dec... thanks for your help and good to know someone who knows the way 😎

Feel free to fire any questions, (here or on the roll call) it’s a cruise we have done frequently on a number of ships, Mrs Gut teaches at a private school so we can slip away for a week before most kids are off school, we have done this cruise or similar (minor port changes) with Princess, Celebrity, P&O, Cunard, we love Tasmania and Mrs Gut did a lot of study on the children’s prison at Port Arthur so is always keen to get back there.

No i meant when choosing the side balcony cabins, why choose mid-aft before mid-forward? anyway at the end i had to go with a side starboard at the forward, that was the only room available that is not under the buffet deck... 😅

For me it’s movement, I get very seasick (and love cruising) so for me the motion is important and I have found these locations suit me best, also the lower the better.

We recently had a great 14 day cruise on Diamond Princess in an Oceanview on mid-ship deck 5 (Plaza) Cabin. Up two sets of stairs to the Promenade deck for fresh air, or out our door and thru the art gallery for coffee, casino, bars, or to our MDR. Great location, so balconies aren’t always the best. Just a thought 🤔
