Misself Posted August 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2019 Hi Hope someone can help as I'm just going round in circles on the website. How do I see which are the 'Select' sailings where you earn extra latitude points? It just says log-in to view cruises and then all I see are ALL the cruises. Isn't there just a list of cruises that the offer applies to? Likewise the cruises that have "20% off" for latitudes members. I have quoted for a cruise both logged in to my account and not and the prices are identical. How do you know which cruises are eligible? Thanks
tallnthensome Posted August 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2019 When you log into your account the 20% off latitudes past guest promo should pop up. You have to click on the tab below in the terms and conditions area to see the 177 select cruises. There is also another tab after logging in that is below the 20% area of the page where the monthly insider offer is at. You are in the UK so I’m not sure if it applies though. browniegirl Posted August 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 13, 2019 I am in Canada and have also had a heck of a time seeing this deal, I also feel like I go in circles.... and never see a 20% reduction. I log in, click on that message and it keeps taking me back to the login page.... very weird.
don't-use-real-name Posted August 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) To see the offerings go to the NCL.com website: On the banner bar look for CRUISE DEALS Click on it and a drop down MENU appears Go the bottom line PAST GUEST OFFER Click on it and if you have not logged on to your MyNCL account when you look at the 20% offerings or Monthly Insider Offers you will be prompted to log on to proceed further - - - After that when you return to the PAST GUEST OFFER page you should when clicking on the offers be taken to a new page with a menu of destinations cruises ports ships dates etc. Not all (or maybe better put very few) cruises qualify for these discounts - almost as if these are poor seasonal sailings not getting the bookings desired a sales effort is made to fill empty cabins. Watch the time limits for the booking period and if booking a Past Guest (Insider) Offer guard the date of the booking to receive the extra Latitudes Rewards Points. Do not change or alter anything on the cruise contract cancelling out the points ! You may still get the points on a cabin upgrade staying on the same ship/sailing but NCL can be finicky about this ! Suggest taking a Screen Shot or copy the image to save in case of a dispute with NCL about what was actually booked AND WHEN ! Also don't leap and grab the Offerings without research - These repeat themselves over many times from month to month. Something not selling/sailing well is apt to be continued - - - Sometimes improving with more or less OBC perks promos internet time shore excursion credits - a dining package or beverage package tossing in free 3 and 4 guests and air fare. Be very careful what you do after any Final Payment period locking in your booking with penalty changes.
