Cruise Night Coupon Book

Hi,

 

We are booked on our second Princess cruise in March, going from San Francisco to Victoria and Vancouver.  One of our perks is a "cruise night coupon book".  We've never heard of that and I cannot find anything about it on this forum.  Does anyone know what that is?

It’s not much in my opinion.  It’s full of small discounts at the shops, photos, etc.  I believe there is something that allows you to do a match bet on a table game in the casino.  I haven’t even bothered to look recently so someone with more recent experience might be able to provide an update.  

 

Their best east use is to even out a wobbly table.

Most of the coupons require you to spend money to save money but the two best deals in the book are the BOGO free coupon for a Speciality restaurant dinner (first evening only) & a free bottle of water during dinner. (which you can take to go).

Some posters have said that the dinner can be pushed to other nights if you ask.

It would be useful to me because I would happily save $29 by booking in Crown Grill on the first night as we dine in there every cruise anyway and wash it down with a free bottle of water.

We always use the first night "Buy One Specialty Dinner Get One Free on the First Night" and the "Free Bottle of Water in a Specialty Restaurant" offers.

They are worse than I remember especially the auction ones. When I see TA's advertising the coupon book I look for another TA.

So If you have a suite already and have the first night there....is it possible to move the coupon dinner to another night? Never hurts to ask, right?

There provided from Princess during certain booking periods during the year.

We booked last time around June 2019 & the previous time around Feb.

My TA suspects they might issue them again in the fall.

TA’s may choose to  have week long Princess Cruise Night Sales, Many times a year if they wish.

The book with the BoGo as well as reduced deposits are included with every Princess reservation during these Sales .The book actually comes from Princess and will be in your cabin.

Contact your TA for more info about it.

We find it pretty much useless and toss them. Only useful one is first night BOGO at specialty restaurant but we prefer to meet our tablemates and waitstaff the first night.

She may not be in charge when she does it. My agent chooses which weeks she does the $100 deposits - she often chooses when Princess Europe comes out or Princess Exotics comes out - when a lot of people book.

 

My agent owns her own company - so she can choose.

Princess should start loading these "coupons" on their app and save some paper.

Whenever I wish to book a Princess cruise , my TA begins a 1 week Cruise Night Sale for me if he doesn't already have one active. Now that is Service !

Costs the TA nothing to just activate a Sale in POLAR.
