Cape Liberty

Flying into Newark the night before sailing on Adventure out of Cape Liberty. Looking for recommendation of hotel just for the night as we will be arriving late and  heading to the port in the morning.

There are several hotels in the Elizabeth area that have free airport shuttles.  One of those is the Country Inn & Suites, which has a cruise shuttle package.

We're staying at the Hampton Inn Newark-Air Port (Elizabeth). We stayed there in 2009. Free air port to hotel shuttle, free breakfast. Typical Hampton Inn property and perks. Using points. We'll catch a car service from the hotel the next day to the port.

We always stay at the Embassy Suites in Elizabeth.

Unless Country Inn & Suites has finished there years long renovation I surely wouldn't recommend this hotel ... several others in the same area (street) a much better option. The OP might also consider using Uber or Lyft...for all their transportation needs for this trip.

I agree.  I wouldn't choose the Country Inn & Suites.  It's across the street from the Embassy Suites, a much better choice.

We stayed at the Residence Inn, which was a very nice property.

Yes, it is and just down the street from Country Inn & Suites...Residence Inn a much better option.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Elizabeth last week. There was a Courtyard by Marriott across the parking lot. It was nice and a good location. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and a big outlet mall across the street.

Just curious if anyone has stayed at the Crowne Plaza Newark Airport?  It's in Elizabeth as well.

We flew into Newark and stayed at Doubletree Suites in Jersey City.  Modern, nice, high rise hotel.. took Lyft to the port... easy!

No, it’s the one in Jersey City.

We've also stayed at the Residence Inn in Jersey City, right next to a PATH station.  Very convenient to visiting Manhattan.

We have stayed at the Ramada Inn on Frontage Rd and used their shuttle to the port.  The room was nice but not much around the hotel.  We have also stayed at the Crown Plaza.  That was also a nice place.  They are not a 5 star hotel but for one night and parking for the cruise they are okay.
