Hi all,

I'm not new to cruising but my husband is a newbie and has some mobility issues. I'm trying to find out if the pool in the solarium on Ovation has a ramp or steps into it. He can descend stairs OK but not ascend due to muscle weakness in his thighs. So he can't do a ladder but could do stairs if they are not too high. He can do 10cm (4") steps quite easily, 15cm (6") steps if he can pull himself up with a railing but anything higher than that is out of the question.

Hoping someone here knows the answer. Thanks.

Alison.

I have never seen a zero entry pool on a ship. It would be difficult to design, given the need to contain water due to waves. I think most steps will be at least 6 inches, and likely 8 or a bit more.
