Room with a view. Don’t mind the haze, the lens fogged up.

Well now I don't feel so bad with my cheapo when it did the same darn thing on my first Oasis cruise! On that one I was on the Boardwalk, Deck 10 about 5-6 cabins from aft and grabbed the camera to score some pics.

WTH?  They changed our flight to 7am. No way.

After 20 minutes on the phone we now have a 12:30 flight to Ottawa with a three hour later over before our flight home.

Not it exactly what the Coke can says but better than flying the next day. The thing about travel is things do always go as planned.  This 7!day cruise says it all.

WooHoo, Andrew, Lisa, and Owen are coming to town!!

So, have any members of your fan club that were on land and should have been cruising since Sunday, that embarked on Thursday made their presence known?

I was just curious.

I think it would be neat to meet fellow CC'ers.

I think it is awesome that you do your live review of your travels.

I am thinking I may give it a go next summer.

By then I should master pictures and dialogue

I have only been able to do after the fact threads.

Must be the age thingie,

Anyway, as I have said before................................

Thanks for the review....................

Love it..............................................

Take care and safe travels..............................................

Looks like Breakaway is dropping off supplies as well. They arrived sometime after 4pm. And they were unloading pallets from the promenade deck. We did not see any guests leaving the ship but it isn’t to say that they weren’t.

There were at least 2 loaded trucks and more to go as there were just as many, if not more pallets of products on the ship.

I believe the Breakaway dropped it's passengers in New Orleans, and then sailed with just crew to Miami to be loaded for the trip to the Bahamas.  They cancelled the cruise that was supposed to sail this week.

Thanks for the info. I read about that cruise.

We watched Fine Line from the balcony. It was good, but not as good as being in the theatre.  Lisa and Owen had an issue of seeing over the glass as there weren’t tall enough. Sitting in the bar stool chairs didn’t help.  Added to it, the glass doesn’t appear to be cleaned weekly like other areas of the ship.  It was like looking through a dirty car windshield for Lisa and Owen.  Knowing the show made it not as bad, but if it was your first and only time do not watch it from your ATS balcony.

Do you think the view is much different from deck 8?  I've watched Oasis of Dreams from Deck 7.

So Lisa looked out the window, and saw this heading at us.

Then I said to Lisa, I feel like returning. So I went out on balcony to check. It seems very strange to be exceptionally close to the Breakaway, when both ships have such great navigational tools.

And now we are running parallel to NCL.

I went into the cabin and turned on the ship TV to see maybe if we are running a search grid, because there are a few other ships within vision.

It looks as though we’ve just been doing donuts all night.  We are not due back until tomorrow morning so who knows.🤔  I am sure we are just putting in time. If I hear different I’ll let you know.

Plans tonight

  • Hibachi. 7:30.

Darn - just missed you as we did Habachi at 5:30.

Definitely the least crowded Oasis class sailing we have ever done.

We did the Pearl Island excursion yesterday and there were only about 50 of us on the island - hence all the empty chairs in this photo.

Interesting photo.

What does one do on Pearl Island?

The beach looks a little rocky!

There is a nice beach (in the photo where the water is the lighter green color). Here is a photo of that.

They have some kayaks and paddle paddle boards for free to use. There was also snorkeling out to a little reef. And a lighthouse to walk up and get some nice views.

Great fish and rice for lunch. The BBQ chicken was tough though.

Great excursion when no one was there. Not sure I’d enjoy it if it were busier.

Absolutely loved this review.  We’re on Harmony on 2 weeks and can’t wait to see some of the shows you wrote about.  I’m totally intrigued about the sinning man.

Quick question - do you know Johnny Rocket is open on embarkation day?  My app says it opens at 11:00 but it’s not always accurate.
