Officers on Arcadia

Does anyone know which cruise director is on Arcadia for September/October this year, and which Captain

When we came off on the 19th it was Captain Cook and the cruise director (or as they are now called entertainment manager) was a lady, slim with blond hair but cannot remember her name (would likely recognise it though).  I do not know when they are due to leave the ship.

Ents manager sounds like Bernie? (Bernadette I assume)

No, I just found the name on a daily sheet.  It is (was) Elaine and I remember that now.

We came off Arcadia on August 3rd and the Ents Manager was called Elaine. We found her to be very good. It was indeed Captain Cook!

The above posts look a bit confusing.  It appears my post was quoted as at first, but I had edited the post (in #4) just before #5 was posted, so presumably #5 was being written when I edited my post.

I have just found my copy of Moments Issue 9 and it lists Elaine Coles as Entertainments Manager until 16 Sept , the date we sail, and Ashley Cook as Captain until 27 Sept -  when we reach Quebec.  

 

Is it normal for the Captain to be changed mid cruise?

Yes, that has often happened in my experience.

We are on the same cruise as you - it is not long now

Certainly on a 3 month world cruise it is.
