Wymond Posted August 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2019 We will dock at Castries' port from 12:30-7:30. It is not enough time to go with a 6-hour Cosol tour? Are any buses waiting at port to provide a half-day sightseeing tour? We would like some historical, sightseeing, shopping or natural activities. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

Thanks, There will be taxis and tour operators at the pier for trips. It's enough time to get to Soufriere and back to see the Pitons and volcano, but not much else - you wouldn't have time for beach or such. You could opt for Pigeon Island up north, national park with ruins, small beach, great restaurants, hikes, etc.. Or Rodney Bay for Beach and shopping. Not sure what type of shopping you're looking for- St Lucia isn't s shopping destination like St Thomas or St Maarten, we don't have Mike's if jewelry and clothes and linens and electronics and name brands and such like said places. And little bargain hunting like said places. Enjoy.

The traffic back to port from Pigeon at around 6pm would not be too bad , is it right? Edited August 30, 2019 by Wymond

cruiseapril Posted September 17, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2019 We took a 3 hour excursion through the ship- so there are shorter ones available. We went to an estate house, and art studio, and out in the country.
sldbolt2 Posted September 24, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2019 (edited) We have the same situation in January. Get in touch with Spencer Ambrose tours - they are working around the ships schedule that day. Our tour is 1:00 to 6:00.
