Beach after tour?

Our ship will be docked in Grand Caymen from 7am - 3pm.   We are booking a tour (8:30am 2.5 hour stingray/snorkel tour through Captain Marvins). We will be picked up and dropped back off at the pier from the tour company.  If time permits, we would love to get to one of the beaches after the tour and would be doing this on our own.  Do you think time would permit this and is so, which beach would you recommend.  Thanks for any info!

Contact Captain Marvin and ask if you can be dropped off on Seven Mile Beach after your tour. When you are ready to return to the tender pier you can take a taxi or one of the public mini-buses that drive up and down the main road. Just flag it down. The fare IIRC is $2.50 USA or $2.00 Cayman per person. You should leave the beach about an hour before the last tender for your ship.

I spent some time at Seven Mile Beach after a tour to Hell - Hell was a letdown but 7 Mile Beach was great!
