Recommended Posts

Is one of the dining rooms or room service available on embarkation day?

I also wanted to asked if one of the ships WiFi plans offers text messaging to family back home?

thanks

Lunch on Carnival is always the restaurants/buffet open on the Lido deck.

Wifi offers a variety of ways to message back home but not with normal texting.

You can use an app on the wifi like WhatsApp .IF you have an Apple phone there's other apps available.

YOu can also text from shore depending on your ports.

Top left shows your lunch choices on embarkation day. Blue Iguana Cantina, Lido buffet and Mongolian Wok are other choices (cut off from photo). Main dining rooms open for dinner; room service not available on embarkation/debarkation days.

If your phone is capable of wifi texting, you can use regular texting with the ship's wifi.  The texts are sent over wifi instead of a cellular connection.  I use wifi texting on every cruise.

Yes, quite a few posts and the correction of the OP make it seem as if coevan was looking to start an argument.
