Unplanned extended cruise $$ questions

I am just curious, if your cruise was extended due to Hurricane Dorian and you purchased any package, internet, cheers, etc. Were you charged for the extra days? Were additional daily gratuities added? I am just thinking of those passengers that paid cash and do not have a credit card.

I certainly would hope not.  It isn't like you have any input on extending the cruise, or decided to book that length of cruise & budget for the extra cost.

If your cruise is extended then so are your packages, at no extra charge.

You won't be charged for the extra day(s) that you are cruising.

They don't add extra gratuities but your cabin stewards & wait staff always appreciate it.

Often times Carnival offers to cover the cost of airline changes, and other goodies.

Yes, correct.  We had to ride out a storm for 2 extra days several years ago. No extra charges incurred, but we did add the same daily gratuities for  our room steward.  And, the extra 

days counted toward our total days cruised, helping push us to Platinum.  😀
