Correct, but only applies to the Deluxe Beverage Package.  No such requirement for the Refreshment or Classic Soda packages.

OK...thanks.  Never had the desire to purchase any of the packages, so was not sure.

Lots of reports that the other companions can buy a refreshment or soda pkg if you press it.

Not sure what happens if you are in a BW balcony with soda pkg included. Would that count as a drink pkg? I do know that you cant upgrade those.

Don't know either.  Never booked the packages...or a BW balcony.  Interesting though.

Because it's not. 🤣

Good luck finding someone to do it.😉

I have no intention of finding someone to break the rules for me.

I was questioning a comment ( post 10) made by a cruise critic host who  posted that she was able to get frozen drinks using her diamond vouchers at some bars.

I simply wrote that I did not know it was possible as I had never asked.    I guess I should’ve  been stronger in my comment and written that I had no intention of ever asking.

My post #11 shows the DL drinks list and it also states,

Frozen Drinks are excluded.

We buy the package all the time and we are D+.  We enjoy have cocktails by the pool, I usually have a Mimosa in the morning, husband wants specialty coffee, etc.  We rarely go to the lounge at night, we like Schooner's so much better, especially on the Oasis Class ships.  We don't even like with the DL is located on Harmony and Symphony so never go there at all.

On Freedom later this month, we will go to the DL at night because it is still in the VCL.  After refurb next year, it will be somewhere else, so probably won't go anymore to that one either

So package or no package is a personal thing.  If you have 5 drinks a day, plus coffee, soda, water, the package pays for itself.

I wasn't criticizing you, I was also surprised at the comment

Thanks, your post clearly shows what is offered. Frozen drinks are indeed excluded  and I have never asked for one when  using a voucher or enjoying a drink in a D/C/S lounge.

And his next post says they got a pina colada as one of their diamond drinks.  Some bartenders will bend the rules, others won't.

We almost always just use our 3 drink vouchers at bars around the ship and I am always surprised at the number of D and above that ask for drinks NOT on the drinks menu.  I never know if they are trying to get something not on the list or if they are indeed unaware that the choice is limited.  I have never thought of asking for a frozen drink.  Might have to try it now😇

I actually offered to pay for the

Pina colada because Pauline fancied one but the bartender kindly included it in the HH D drinks.

The following night on Central Park I again offered to pay for Paulines

Pina Colada and a different bartender charged me but I was okay with that.

I would never ask for a frozen drink either, the list is very specific.  We get the refreshment package so virgin frozen drinks are included.  Guess I could get a frozen drink with my package and then order a shot of booze to put in it.

I'm fine with my NA and Cranberry.

Me too - I was actually getting Grey Goose a lot on our Harmony sailing as I am sure you were as well.  Seemed to depend on the bartender in CK

I got in quite a tiff with a bartender in the casino. I sat down about 10 till 8. He finally gets to me right at 8. Pours me an Absolute and Cranberry,  then charges me. When I objected he said computer controls it, past 8pm. Receipt clearly shows Absolute.  So I said no, it charged me because you entered wrong alcohol.  Told him I didn't want it then. He grabbed receipt when i tried to take a picture of it.

I ended up with drink and gave him a tip anyway. But i never went back

Does Royal Caribbean still limit the cocktail hour to 3 drinks?

(Asking because Celebrity changed it this year again and you can have unlimited drinks during the cocktail hour.)

Only limited on vouchers, unlimited in lounge

Can non-Diamond suite guests participate in the Happy Hour and/or get the 3 drink vouchers?

Suite (not Junior) guests can get unlimited drinks in either the Concierge or Suite lounges during the evening happy hour.  No drink vouchers for suite guests.

No HH is a loyalty bonus.

If you are in a full Suite you can get unlimited drinks in the SL/CL but no 3 free drinks added to your sea pass for drinks in other bars.
