is it the same island that you ferry over to from St Thomas? I am so confused. our ship docks on st johns Antigua. is this the same island?

No it is not. St. Johns, Antigua is a town in Antigua where the ship docks when calling on Antigua.. There is also an island called St. Johns near St. Thomas both of which are part of the US Virgin islands.

Close, but...

The island in the US Virgin Islands chain is St. John - no S.

People on this board frequently mispronounce it, which has no doubt caused your confusion.

City in Antigua at which you dock = St Johns

Island near St Thomas, in the USVI = St John
