kprice1218 Posted September 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Hello, I am new to HAL, we are traveling round trip inside passage from Seattle this month. Does anyone know if HAL offers post cruise, ship to airport luggage service?
catl331 Posted September 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) Yes they do. See https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/faq/know-before-you-go.html in the Shipboard Life section. Edited September 11, 2019 by catl331
freestyling Posted September 11, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Here is a direct link for The HAL Luggage Services. You can find the info somewhere within the Know before you go as well. Just thought this might be easier. https://www.maketraveleasier.com/holland/order
kennystwin Posted September 11, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2019 In Seattle, it's even better. The port of Seattle sponsors the Port Valet service making it free for you. Details here: https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free I've used it a couple of times and it is great. Leave your bags out the night before docking in Seattle and you won't see them again until baggage claim when you're home. You can be among the first off the ship so you can head to Pike's Market, Chihuly, or any of the other great sites in Seattle. Head to the airport with boarding passes you received on the ship, through security (this can be time consuming) and you're on the way home without hassling with luggage. Great service!
zelker Posted September 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2019 We used the free Port Valet last month and it worked flawlessly. They checked us in and provided our boarding passes as well. Just make sure you're flying one of the specified participating airlines as noted on the link that kennystwin provided and that your departure time falls with their guidelines as well.
