Thorben-Hendrik Posted September 12, 2019 #29 Share Posted September 12, 2019 Wonder if they will do any sailings in Europe and a revenue transatlantic!🤔
Rare twangster Posted September 12, 2019 #30 Share Posted September 12, 2019 Symphony's first revenue cruise out of Miami was crazy expensive. That was also a short cruise but the Perfect Day pier was finished yet so it didn't stop there. No surprise that Odyssey is following in those footprints, both in terms of itinerary and price. It will sell out.
Rare mac_tlc Posted September 12, 2019 #31 Share Posted September 12, 2019 Randomly checked some prices in January & March 2021. With some variation, 8D/6D balcony about $200pp/per day, JS around $300pp/day, GS around $500pp/per day. Thats all in, with D+ discount. Similar for 6 or 8 day itineraries. mac_tlc

With Nov. 5 being called out as the Inaugural, it doesn't look good for European or a transatlantic.

Just FYI Royal's UK site has them listed. You can't search by the ship but if you start the date at November 2020 and select Ft. Lauderdale as the port it will bring them up in the search results which show the itineraries.

Not clear exactly if there will be a silver/gold lounge area or more of a conventional solarium. Deck 14 appears to be a solarium with a different layout. Bar has moved forward and to starboard, a restaurant, TBD is central but with an elevator. The restaurant has a separate entrance from the forward elevator lobby. The little blue dots are believed to be card access readers so what does that say? Maybe suites only? Deck plans are not official so can't say for sure. That elevator doesn't go down, it goes up to deck 15 where there is a space of some sort, possibly related to the spa. This has the outline of Spectrum but very different layout. No cabins like Spectrum in this area and mention of a spa that isn't there on Spectrum. Card readers still present. Like Spectrum the outdoor jogging track doesn't go as far forward as it does on the previous Quantum class ships. 1 minute ago, lighthousemom said: And this is Odyssey, not Spectrum?? Deck 12 and 13 aft deck plans are unique. Different than the other Quantum class and different from Spectrum. That suggests these are specific deck plans for Odyssey. However they may not be the final plans and they may in places borrow from the sisters.
