Last year it was $7 round trip. We'll be there again this Nov, so we'll see if there's a price change. They also were selling beers & bottled waters on the water taxis.....they had three of them running constantly. Besides at the dock near the ship, they make two stops at the boardwalk area.....

Yeah, they do a pretty good side business with selling the water and beer on the little taxis.  Decent price too.  😉

Has always been a jewelry port for me.  Have no need to buy any more.  Pat, have you stopped at the shops that are supposed to be at the end of the pier by where you get the water taxi?  I have read on line that there are some shops and maybe a bar close to where we dock.  Never paid attention in the past, just hopped water taxi.

The liquor shop right at the end of the pier is actually the best place to buy liquor.  We have extensively shopped around the main drag and off to the side roads and still they have the best price.  Super easy to grab a few bottles just before you get on the water taxi to take back to the ship.

The rum is for Bucky,.... me...I bought a favorite watch there, and always visit my favorite "hat lady" to make my straw hat purchases.  She remembers me each time too.  As far as bars or cafes....we like the Blue B.... Bar as our favorite.  (They have a logo of a blue colored female dog).  😉  Turn right when you disembark from the water taxi and then down a block or so, will be on your left.

Lunch at Chops

Curious how did you order your steak and was it done to your liking? I've heard you need to order a filet one temp grade higher than you want it like medium for medium rare. Was that your experience? How consistent was it?

How’d it get to day Seven already? My goodness. Last night we managed to close down the Rising Tide Bar again. As usual we had an amazing time. It’s really been an incredible week. After that we made our way to the casino.

Last night and today we continue to Rock & Roll and as a result of that some shows have been canceled as expected.

Lunch is coming up here shortly and then this afternoon we have our last roll call bar hop. We’re sailing with an amazing group of cruisers.
