New Third-Party Sony E-Mount Lens

I would wait until some reviews with images are available. I have Rokinon 12mm f/2 and 8mm fisheye third-party lenses that perform very well but their 85mm f/1.4 was disappointing. Fast primes struggle with chromatic aberrations and corner sharpnesss.  At only $150 less than the excellent Sony 85mm f/1.8, it would have to provide exceptional performance to balance the fact that it's fully manual.

The newer AF Samyang/Rokinon 85/1.4 is exceptional

apart from price, the Sony 135/1.8 may be their most perfect lens ever (but just started testing)

 

Any while not perfect, the Sony 35/1.8 is spectacularly sharp and a perfect compliment to an a7 camera. (Review coming very shortly)

Not 3rd party.... But the Sony FE 35mm F/1.8 is nearly a must-own lens for Sony shooters:
