Robinhill Posted September 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2019 (edited) Can anyone tell me if the balcony in 7648 and 7650 on the Ovation is larger then normal? It is a studio balcony cabin but it looks like it is on a hump and longer. Thanks in advance. Edited September 14, 2019 by Robinhill error
Rare twangster Posted September 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2019 (edited) Both have a balcony deeper than most. This video is from Anthem and deck six, but same on Ovation. It compares 6648 and 6650. It confused me at first but then I realize they had both cabins with the balcony divider open and walked from 6648 balcony to the 6650 balcony through the open balcony divider. Rare Oceansaway17 Posted September 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2019 I just booked one of these for April 2021. What does the term hump mean?

tomatosauce Posted September 15, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2019 Having been in several of the sudio balconies the best of them are the rooms XY50. You get extra space without the cave like balcony of a room like 7648. It isn't that bad actually but it does feel that little bit darker.
Sparkynator Posted September 15, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 15, 2019 I just sailed on Anthem of the Seas in cabin 7650 for 9 nights to Canada and New England. Great balcony - deep without making me feel like I was in a cave - and location to the elevators was ideal. The only drawback to this cabin is there is no place to sit inside the cabin. The weather cooperated for the most part so sitting out on the balcony was very comfortable.
