Overnight trip report

We are getting ready to leave for the ship soon but I wanted to post a couple of things while they're fresh on my mind.

 

We stayed at the Hampton Inn convention center and it was a great overnight spot. Check in was fast. I think it was about $30 for the uber ride there. 

 

We walked to the outlet mall down the road that took 10-15 minutes. 

 

We walked from there to Acme Oyster House on Iberville and had a fantastic meal. We had fried crab claws, fried crawfish tails and boob boom shrimp. All was delicious. We also had 2 hurricanes each which were yummy as well. The hub ordered bread pudding and I had the pecan cobbler. I must say that the pecan cobbler might be the best dessert we've ever eaten. So good in fact that the hub ordered a second one all for himself! Our bill was $99 but $36 of that was booze lol. 

 

It was $6-7 for an uber back to the hotel where we got in the pool to relax a bit before bed. A nice way to start our vacuum!

Did the hotel let you leave the vehicle there, or did you fly. I see you were using Uber so I automatically assume fly. I am coming April 1 and will need one with cruise parking.
