Basic questions about Royal

We are Emerald level but have been sailing different cruise lines for the last 6 years and Royal seems like a foreign place. 

Some basic questions:    I know you can have 2 bottles of wine to carry on.  How much soda? Does the soda need to be in cans or can it be in plastic bottles?

 

We have MTD.... I'm getting mixed information.  Do I have to make a reservation  or set a specific time or can we go whenever we want to go?

12 factory sealed containers of non-alcoholic beverages, each no larger than 500ml.

 

MTD reservations are not mandatory, you can show up whenever you like.

Do they allow water.  Another cruiseline has stopped water.

Can be soda OR water (or a combination of both). This is per stateroom, not per person.

Juice included too. Basically anything non alcoholic that's in the size restrictions.

MTD reservations are not required - BUT if you want a particular table at a specific time, or you want specific a waiter/assistant, it is possible to request that ahead of time.
