US Customs photo recognition

My husband and I went through it April 2019, returning to Miami from Cuba on NCL Sky.  He got the green light and I got the red.  My new passport and new married name was not recognized.

Been doing this on the Sky most of this year.  If carrying bags off, just look at camera and right out to the street.  No custom agents.

We just disembarked from the Celebrity Summit in Cape Liberty this morning. It was our first time using facial recognition at a cruise port. I asked the agent if I should take my glasses off, since I am not wearing them in my passport photo. She said to try it first with my glasses on. I did and it quickly recognized me. Really speedy process, there were no lines.

Also in Ft. Lauderdale when leaving the Equinox a few weeks ago.
