Cabin Move Up Bid Question

We are leaning towards making a bid for the first time.  Question:

 

Is it possible that if we make a bid and it is accepted that we'd end up in an accessible cabin?  That is a situation we would not want.

Yes it is possible.

It is also possible to be assigned a accessible cabin when you book a Guaranteed cabin.

Yes and also possibly an obstructed view room.     If you expect the least desirable cabin you may get it.   You may also get a premium location if someone else with a good cabin got upgraded leaving their cabin vacant.

Thanks to all - does anyone know if the Accessible shy suites still have the bathtub?

I don't think they ever had a bathtub, but I've never sailed in one.  I've just seen complaints about water on the floor and the bathroom isn't big enough for both. Regular sky and celebrity suites have the shower in the tub. Only higher end suites have both.

Just looked at a video of a tour of Reflection Accessible Sky Suite -   No bathtub -   Wheelchair accessible shower.    I hear it is problematic with water going everywhere.

We stayed in an accessible a few years ago when the upgrade fairy existed.  Most days no problem with water running out of shower but if the ship was rocking the water could go all over the bath.  Simple solution is get a couple of extra towels Roll them up and create a barrier. 

We would ‘t be reluctant to do a Move Up or guarantee fearing an accessible SS, they are very large.
