Coral reef restoration programme

Recommended Posts

Thinking of visiting this and doing the snorkel program, has anyone done it.  Not offered by Carnival but would do independently thanks

Oceania Marina has offered it, I’m signed up for our stop in January as it benefits a local nonprofit working on reef restoration.   Will post afterwards.

So the reef area of El Cielo remains closed.  Does that affect the ability for private charters to access the beach?  We splurged on a private excursion and the beach at El Cielo would seemingly be the highlight of the trip.
