BanburyBlue Posted September 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2019 Hi all, We're off on a cruise next week that docks in Lisbon. I'm struggling to find out where the ship will dock, and where this dock is in relation to the city centre. Does anyone know? If it helps we're on the P&O Britannia (cruise B927), arriving in Lisbon on Friday 4th October. Many thanks,
MeHeartCruising Posted September 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2019 Using Google search, I found the Port of Lisbon website and eventually found a link that seems to "forecast" where ships will dock in the future. I'm assuming it's named that way because it could be subject to change. The link is: http://www.portodelisboa.pt/portal/page/portal/PORTAL_PORTO_LISBOA_ING/CRUZEIROS/PREVISAO_NAVIOS_CRUZEIRO Using the page to search for October sailings, I found your ship docking at Quay "Jtab", which if you hover your mouse over it shows "Terminal de Passageiros Jardim do Tabaco". I could not directly find that terminal detailed on the port's website. Which seems odd. Perhaps I just wasn't clicking on the right things. But, if you go to Google Maps and search for "Jardim do Tabaco", you'll find a street with that name very close to the water. If you look at the satellite image for that location, you'll even see a cruise ship docked nearby. That's the best my research was able to come up with. Seems like a reasonable guess for you to start your research. Hope that helps.
dogs4fun Posted September 19, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2019 (edited) Right, your ship will dock at Jardim do Tabaco - its located in the northern part of the city and is the closest port to the city center. It is #3 on the map below: Edited September 19, 2019 by dogs4fun
