Will this be true for the Anthem as well?  We are sailing Thanksgiving week and would love to see the Christmas decorations.

Usually fleet wide.  We love sailing over Thanksgiving and it is fun to see more and more decorations up as the week progresses.

Related question--how long do they stay up?  We are taking a cruise over New Year's on the Allure next year and wondered if it would still be decorated for the holidays.

Believe they keep them up until the 1st of the year.

Our experience has been that they start to take them down during the first cruise that starts after Jan 1.

We cruised on Voyager a few years ago from Dec12 - 20. We travelled with our extended family in the South Pacific. And it snowed.  Well artificial snow on the ship. There were elves making cookies, a lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree, arrival of Santa plus singers in the mall carolling with snow. There was a Christmas style dinner with bonbon crackers and hats. It was the most fabulous time, the grandchildren were thrilled.

But last year cruised with family again on Ovation, disembarking Nov 28 and no Christmas decorations whatsoever at that time.

Should be left up til 12th night, ie Jan 6

The title of Twelfth Night refers to the twelfth night of Christmas, also referred to as the eve of Epiphany, a day that commemorates the visit of the Magi to the baby Jesus and is often celebrated with a temporary suspension of rules and social orders.

Do the RCCL singers and dancers do holiday songs in front of the Xmas tree?

On the Enchantment the first week of December last year, they did a tree lighting in the Centrum. This was followed by a Christmas music sing along with passengers and crew, led by the CD.  It was on the 3rd night I believe.  They passed out songbooks and everyone seemed to have a pretty good time.  I am assuming this is done on most ships and is a weekly occurrence during December.
