La Romana

We have a group of 15, everyone is terrified to go anywhere. We planned on an AI but not a chance now. Is there a beach close we could take a cab? I have been to Labadee, never on this side. Any advise will be appreciated. Shopping, beach would be fine. TIA.

We just went to Amber Cove, Did a private tour, Walked around Puerto Plata.

Went to a private beach, Had lunch cooked on the beach by a local.

Drank Local Rum with there ice cubes.

 

Still alive.

 

My wife is still in the hospital down there but I am fine.

Just kidding.

 

 

Go back to La Romana next year and will organize the same thing.

 

Go have fun. See the locals and enjoy.

Thanks for yr input, however, nobody in our group will drink anything. How far is Punta Cana? I understand :a Romana is a toilet, must do an excursion, guess this is why you went to Punta Cana. My cousin had a gun stuck in his face there, guess we will stay on board.

Could you recommend the beach, tour,  where to dine?  The information for La Romana is sparse on here.  Thanks in advance.
